When practise the "Tangerine Technique" should you THINK of the place at the top back part of your head while you read? And if so, how can you consciously learn something, while you do the Preview step, if your whole attention is fixed on that specific piont?

It's a bit fuzzy..I just haven't got a grip of the technique..the best book i've read so far though! =)

I'd grateful for any view's or opinions,

Christo

Just touch the top back part of your head and notice the feeling that is left behind when you move your hand away. It will remain for some time without a lot of attention.

Practice doing that when you PhotoRead. touch that part of the head to place the tangerine there and then just get on with PhotoReading. You don't have to keep thinking of it but if you find yourself distracted easily by stuff going on around you or your mind wandering, bringing your awareness back to the tangerine will help you to refocus.

Exactly, what part of the head is top and back, where the hair forms a twister ? at the height of eyes in the back of head ?

How do you know / see that you have had the technique good ? You visualize something ?
