It is just coming up to the summer holidays and i thought this would be a good time to start photoreading. At the moment i am an average A* student in the majority of my studies. This is not natural for me, by this i mean i have to work very hard to achieve this grade in many of my subjects. I enjoy working and learning and school. Having read some of the threads on the website about how some peoples grades declined, and then Alex said, why change the system that you have if you achieve high grades. This comment just made me question whether i should do photoreading. My reasons for doing it is that studying takes up all my time, and i would like a quicker comprehension, although i am not under any illusions that it is some magical method where i can stop putting the effort in for my work! This is not the case i enjoy putting the effort in. I just want to improve myself. I really enjoy enhancing my mental capabilities, and maximising my chance of success. I currently do mindmaps etc and think they are marvellous, i am open to many different learning strategies and have gained excellent results from various pariliminals from learning strategies corporation. With all of this in mind, and considering the large space of time i have to learn photoreading and to practice it on many materials, with no related stress, do you think i should do the photoreading course?
