Hi everybody,1. While photofocusing, I find myself often humming a relaxing tune instead of the usual chant and affirmations. Is that OK?
As long as it's a simple short piece. Other wise you might be engagaing too much of the conscious mind into action.

2. Basically, I have a problem with the self affirmations throughout the process. I feel like I'm compelling myself to accept something I don't truly believe in, and that makes me even less relaxed. As I see it, after a few times the system works, you get the grip of it and only then you can really relax, as you know what feeling you should expect.
It is the same feeling as when learning a new skill or subject. At first you are very tense and unrestful, but once you get the idea you become relaxed as you develop confidence and feel in control.
Any comment on this perspective? I'm waiting for that feeling of control to pop up, but maybe I need to change my point of view on the subject in order for it to work. Ideas anyone? Thanks,
Gil
The anly statements affirm what you want from your PhotoReading. If you feel you're lying you are saying to yourself the opposite. Tell yourself what you want from the PhotoReading. Affirming is saying things like, 'I want to see what results I get from PhotoReading. I want to notice any signals my body and mind create to to bring this information to my concsiousness. I want it to come to my conscious mind with ease.'
If the word order Paul suggested doesn't work for you because they were handed over to you. Change them, just remember that to affirm using positive statements of what you want and reflect your intention of getting it. In other words. "Yes! This is what I want and am going to look for."
We're not creating affirmations that to repeated over. We are just affirming what we want from our efforts and advising ourselves about what to notice.
