this is the thing i haven't mastered the art of stating a purpose, cant simply say "to absorb all that this book has to offer, so that i can become a better student"?, i know you have to be specific, buti was wondering is there is a listof possible purposes i can choose from. all purposes for all of my readings for every and any circumstance is for school and increasing my knowledge for such academic purposes *only*.

quote:
"to absorb all that this book has to offer, so that i can become a better student"

Does that motivate you?

[laughs], you're reposnses are so short [laughs again], uhm, so far as motivation goes...yes!, but im under the impression that the more i can specify the better the results. if that is so, here lies the dilemma, i can't exactly formulate one. perhaps if there is a list i can choose from...**hint, hint**.

No mate. It won't if I do it for you. You need to know where you want to go with it. If you can't establish a purpose then you're not interested. I suggest that you dump the book and find one you do have a a purpose for.

You do realise you purpose can change as you start to activate the book. When yuo discover what's in there you might find it doesn't evem match your starting purpose.
