You can frame any type of question you want using PR. It can be a general question or a specific one. The advantage of multiple choice is that you can use the question to activate the reading since PR uses recognition to guide you. But if your not in school, it's not really practical unless the book contains multiple choice questions. If your book has multiple choice questions, then read the questions first to guide you. Schools have it backwards. Otherwise just write down your questions before you start.
