I think i might be in deep trouble, i have photoread for like one and a half years now... And these are the overall results i have got:

English : 54.0/100
Chemistry : 50.5/100
Physics : 65.0/100
Biology : 47.9/100
Combined Humanities: 46/100
E Maths : 74/100
A Maths : 70/100

This is not the first time i am getting results like these. I will try to make my problem as detailed as possible...

These are the approach i have used before the exams:

1: I prepare, do a quick preview by looking at the content page, and briefly think about what my purpose would be.
2: Next, i photoread the text book, and affirmed my purpose.
3: Finally i did a rapid read for activation because i already knew what was the book like(having read the the book before i learnt about the whole mind system).

During the exams, i also did what scheele said in his book by relaxing and taking the exams...

But still, i still get results like that... I know my points well, but i just cant get it in the exams, especially the sciences...

I am rather lost right now, and theres a major exam coming in the next 2 months, and this will determine whether i could enter the junior college or not. Could any kind soul please tell me what i should do next? i know photoreading works, but i do not know how to make it work for me, or is there a mistake in my approach... what should i do?

You are not building the information in layers by resorting straight to a raopid read. I think textbooks should always be activated in layers with the rapid read as a finale in the week or three before any exams.

Also check your purpose. Your approach indicates you're skimping on that too. Which will give you poor results.

If you're not asking mind probing questions during activation how on earth are you going to know the answers when a test comes along?

Ask questions of the book if you're not asking questions you are passive reading and not rapid reading.

Thanks for the help Alex. I think i am going to do as you suggested + photoread each book 10 times over.. What do you think?

I think if you spent the time activating in layers you'd get all you need.
