So you dismissed one of the most powerful things about Photoreading which is photoreading. Did you read Paul Scheele's book on Photoreading. He address this in the photoreading book. He basically says not to dismiss or not give credit to the photoreading step.
When you photoread you are exposing the book to the other than conscious mind which is far more powerful than the conscious mind. The conscious mind can attend to about 6 to 8 bits of information at the same time. The other than conscious mind can attend to 20,000 things at the same time. The other than conscious mind outweighs the conscious mind 10 billion to one. When you photoread you are having the book operating on both a conscious level and other than conscious level and that in turn makes it easier for you to learn your textbooks. I would not be in such a hurry to dismiss the photoreading step. You definitely would be losing major benefits by not using this powerful process.
