Hi,

I'm having a problem with maintaining the accelerated learning state while PRing. After a while, I get beta again. I tried suggestions in the book, but helped only little. Any suggestions?

During PhotoReading you have high theta and low beta... so what makes you think you're not holding the PhotoReading state?

What I mean is that when I do the 3-2-1 excercise, I get some certain feeling similar to that when practising Qigong . I guess that this is the "Accelerated learning state". I loose this feeling after a few minutes of photoreading .

Yes that right, when you open your eyes you bring back beta. The purpose of entering the Accelerated Learning State is to give your mind clear direction of what you want to do. The PhotoReading state itself is completely different and is triggered by photofocusing.

If you're relaxed saying a chant and turning the pages with a steady rhythm focusing on the four corners of the book or see the blip page then you've got it right.

Entering the Accelerated Learning State is to prepare you for the activation stage more than the PhotoReading stage of the system.

Thank u very much alex,

Just to make sure I understood right.. after I entered the ALS, I open my eyes, and don't need to maintain it any more? then I PhotoFocus, PR the material, then proceed with the rest of the system? This is what I understood, please let me know if I'm right or correct me. What I didn't understand is the relation between entering the ALS and the activation phase. I'd appreciate a more technical explaination.

Thanx

After you open your eyes use the tangerine technqiue for focus and concentration.

We enter the Accelerated Learning State to give ourselves some instructions. We state our purpose and affirm our intended experience throughout the process.

It helps to lower the defences in place that would block our other than conscious mind's awareness of the importance, to us, of the material being PhotoRead. Then during activation it helps reach through our defences to notice our body, mind connection because we told our other than conscious mind that this is important to us.

The defence mechanism I am referring to it what keeps our body going. It takes over everything we don't need to do consciously and allows us to do them automatically.

The peripheral awareness is one of the automatic functions handled by the other than conscious mind and while this is useful to the PhotoReading process itself it's not much good if we want conscious awareness. So we use the Accelerated Learning State to give the other than conscious mind some instruction, to make it aware of what we want to achieve.

Tangerine technique applies to all reading it's for maintaining focus and concentration on what you are doing right now.
