Hey everyone,

While I'm in Photofocus and I'm flipping pages, I get this buzzing sensation in the area between my eyebrows and a little above that as well. I also get a similar sensation on my temples. Now, just thinking about it gives me the sensation.

This happens without fail everytime I Photoread. I have a feeling that this basically is neural activity.

Can anyone tell me if I'm right?

Are you sure you are not crossing your eyes?

Yes I'm pretty sure I'm not crossing my eyes.

To go into photofocus, I've done what's recommended in the book too, ie while sitting at a table, to look at the floor and slowly bring the book into view of the eyes.

Parabola I believe that sensation you are experiencing is known as the 'third-eye'. I do myself experience that sensation when in photofocus and think it will continue until I permantely fix my left and right eyes in the outer corners of my eyes. For example, when you photofocus your eyes separate as opposed to crossing the eyes where the end up beside the nose. The third-eye is the result of pushing the eyes apart. After enough time of doing this they will permantely end up naturally divergent. Once this happens you will be able to see a whole page clearly, i.e with a single glance you will be able to see a word at the top of the page and a word at the bottom reading them simultaneously.

The only side effect of all this that has come to my attention is your eyes will look differect to everyone elses. People will say, "look at me", and you are looking at them but with your third eye. Your real eyes, and when I say this I mean your iris will be looing out to the left and rigt as in a permanent divergent gaze.

The buzzing is blood circulation that you notice. We often notice these things when we are doing something differently. You'll find a point when you don't observe it as much and can bring it back just by placing your awareness there. Yep it's neural activity, (requires more blood movement ).

Joe I got what you said about the third eye...I'm also aware that the third eye chakra is located in the region somewhere between the eyebrows.

Alex you're right, I can recall the feeling just by imagining what it feels like. I sometimes get the feeling even when I'm reading normally.

Another interesting thought I just had is that maybe if we think about the feelings we had after photoreading a book, do you think it will make it easier to recall the information? Just a thought ;-)

Thanks

Most definitely. Do you remember the fairytale, Hansel and Gretel. I love the analogy we can drawn to our own lives.

The bread crumbs that were dropped act as markers on a journey, from point A to point B. Now a person is also able to leave markers in their own life. Point A in this case being the day we are born and point B being the present moment. We are able to deliberately leave markers for ourselves and at other times the present moment leaves its mark on us (something exciting is happing or a major trauma has occurred). These are the memories/moments of time, that are so easy to recall. We all have them.

So getting to your point about reminiscing about the feeling we had after the reading is a BIG yes in my books. You are emphasising a feeling in a moment of time, making that space of time more memorable. In the future, when you travel back in time, through recalling passes memories, that feeling will definitely act as an additional trigger when recall is needed.

And I guess that's the reason it is so important to state affirmations after Photoreading like 'I acknowledge the feelings I have receieved from this book'

Makes a lot of sense...

JoeBlogs.I have usee PWMS to read for half a year.I can see the blip page easily but never see all pages clearly(only the fonts in the bottom is clear).
I have heard somebody said their situation as yours. They said that they can know what's going on in the book when photoreading.Such as novel, they can get the story line after photoreading. But I never know anything when photoreading. What about you?

They say words are weapons. Sharper then a double bladed sword. We all know this to be true. A word holds MEANING. People use the words meaning to attack people, make fun of them and belittle them. All words have a heirachy of important to us, individually.

For example, if I happen to say the word BIG when describing an apple, and there are two people I am talking, where one has a normal sized nose and one has a huge nose, then I can guarantee that the word BIG envokes more emotion in the person with the big nose. They will know the word painfully if the have not come to terms with their appearance. This applies across the board with everyone. We all have special words we dont like hearing. The person with the ordinary nose would probably not even recognised the word. Are you understanding what I am saying so far.

Ok, back to your question. During the preview step of the PWMS certain words will catch your attention. I am telling you they will. These are trigger words. They hold MEANING. They give you a 'sense' of what is about to come if reading further takes place. This is what I believe those people are truely referring to.

Pete mentioned in a post a while back, that he photoread a novel (put it into his memory to be processed by the OTC) and dreamt about a particular scene. I think it was about being chased in an airport. The OTC has been used to describe an unknown quantity that exists within us. Knowbody knows how it works. Its like there is another you working behind the scenes doing all the work and not getting any acknowledgment.

I myself do believe there is something there, and yes, I get nervous sometimes about the implications for such a thing to exist.
