What feeling you have when you get spontaneous activation?

Is it same feeling like when you remember something from normal reading?

For example, I was read one linux book few months ago, before I was start PR. I never PR that book.
It's very good book about GUI - KDE, GNOME, etc.
Now when I work on KDE and I need to know/remember something (from that book), I just know that this information come from that book and I know approximately where is it in the book (in beginning, in the middle, or end part). I don't know exactly chapter or page number, just approximately.

Does spontaneous activation work like this, or you JUST get/know information, but you don't know from where it comes?
Like driving a bike or swimming, you just know you can do that and you just do it.

Or something else happen?

Niksa, how long did you take to achieve spontaneous activation? After years of practice?

I want to know how PR expert feel when they get spontaneous activation.

Maybe this will help me, or you, to recognize "feeling"!

Spontaneous activation feels the same as knowing what the answer is to the question what is 2 + 2. It's as if you've known it all along. The information just glides out of your mouth when someone asks a question.

How can a photoreader accelerate his/ her progress from conscious activation to spontaneous activation?

Anything you try to do to accelerate spontaneous activation makes it manual activation. It isn't spontaneous if you work at it so let it go.

Use manual activation completely and consciously on at least one book a week for a couple of months and sure enough you will have spontaneously activated a book here and there.

Don't be surprised if you don't realise you've had spontaneous activation. It mostly occurs with 20/20 hindsight.

Let's imagine a hypothetical situation, what if I don't feel too good on a particular day, due to some personal problems. It interferes with my state of mind, preventing me from fully concentrating on the task at hand. Will spontaneous activation be harder to achieve?

Yeah just like it's harder to laugh spontaneously...

You cannot force spntaneous activation it's no longer spontaneous. Evaluating whether it's harder or easier under certain circumstances is redundant.

Therefore, spontaneous activation is best achieved by itself and in a relaxed manner.
