is it alright to mindmap and mindprobe for questions while using the text as reference? or is it strictly a test for recall where u absolutely force ur mind to generate those connections? (its because sometimes i after even previewing and photoreading, it takes me a longg time to formulate good questions...moreover, after a reading, sometimes id have only a small notion of what the material is about)

The text reference is your list of trigger words. Look at them. Using the book you'll be drawn into traditional and passive reading. That's why you collect trigger words during the preview or postview.
