Hello there,

I just wanted to share my good experiences with my recent taking of the photreading course.

I had the home study course about 8 years ago but never followed through with it.

I bought the CDs to listen to in the car recently and itworked so much better this time.

As a teen I read tons of books but I stopped when I came to university because I found reading so heavy.

Since doing the PR course again 1 month ago I have read loads of books for fun. (5 in total and it normally takes me about a month to read a book at a time if I read for pleasure at all.)

I just today found out I havebeen awarded a training post for next year to become a general practitioner (like a family practitioner and community internist in the USA I suppose).

I photoread and superread and dipped a UK government document of 74 pages the night before my interviews in order to understand the current proposals for change in general practice in the UK National Health Service. I wal able to answer these questions.

My friend had 14 interveiws and got 2 job offers.

I had 2 interviews (so didn't have as good a resume as she did) and was offered both posts. I picked my favourite (and the first to offer me the job.)

I'm going to use PR to study for my postgrad UK medical exams in January. I'm so excited.

Just wanted to share- though I'm sure I'll be here to share my difficulties too.

That's great. It seems the beginner's hump tends to throw the onlooker into submission, as it has with me.

I hope to have such success stories of my own one day, and wish you the best with advancing your capabilities in the future. Thanks for sharing.

Since you are well grounded with yourself and have photoreading working for you so well can you give me some tips on what you did to achieve succesfull activation?
