You do not scan when photoreading. You are not reading when photoreading. Simply look at the crease in the center of the book and use your peripheral vision and look at all four corners of the book and notice the white on the pages.

Many thanks for yr response. In the book, it says one will see the text very clear when into the stage of photoreading. You mean i should neglect the text (just too easy to catch my attention) and find the white of the page, right? Thanks!

The text can take on an unusual clarity once you have PhotoRead a number of books. You see all the letters on the page by not focusing on the letters. Focus on the space behind the letters.

Your main focal point is the centre of the book. Your awareness of the book is on both pages. You turn one page every 2 seconds. There is simply not enough time to scan the pages. You take mental snap shots of the two pages much like a camera.

what's the different between the book photoreading and the CDs set? if i simply want to learn photoreading, will it be okay to have the book only? what extra technique i can get from the CDs set.
