Use the system when you know how to use it and concentrate on your exams using what you know works best for you right now.
Unless you're prepared to pay the price of using something that you don't know how to use yet. I don't recommend spending time on learning PhotoReading when you need to focus on upcoming exams. There are only 24 hours in a day you don't get extra for taking on another course of study.
