If you have trouble with a paragraph or chapter. Do leave it. You can activate it again on the next pass and the next one and the next one if necessary. Just keep asking questions. Rephrase the question if you have to. Activation is multiple passes so you never miss an important point. You come back to it with the next activation pass.
I've had similar experience where activation made no sense while I was activating a section. So I made a note that I wanted to go back to that part to clear it up. In the next activation I went there first. I spent less than 30-seconds with the section and it made sense. Yet it felt like it was never going to come together in the previous activation pass.
So remember layers. You don't miss important points you activate them in the next pass.
