WOW! What you say is quite intriguing, regarding connecting to an author and his/her books, without even opening the books!!?? I know you stated in an earlier post that a man named Edgar Cayce obviously did it. Out of curiosity I looked up Edgar Cayce in the boookstores and libraries and saw the documents that there was such a man, half a century ago and he did indeed absorb books, by sleeping with them under his pillow at night! Amazing, as he (Edgar Cayce) was judged to be near illiterate, yet he could reproduce verbatim, pages out of the book, when in a hypnotic state!
Just less than two years ago, I was one of those people saying that Photoreading was impossible and everyone involved with it was in some sort of cultlike trance! I had many years of advanced medical classes and psychology study and inevitably was "stuck in the box". on conventional thinking. I totally thought the idea of reading with peripheral vision and photofocus was utterly ridiculous!
What swayed me to even consider giving PR a trial , were the number of competent great achievers in my Anthony Robbins seminars, including my Anthony Robbins personal coach, who swore that it was making their lives better! I reluctantly tried it, with a spirit of proving they were wrong! However, I gave it a fair try, without self sabotaging it!
I followed Paul Scheele's directions, with hesitancy! I expected it not to work
Well, the rest is history and my reading speed and comprehension have improved at least 1000%, ( yes there are 3 zeroes - I do mean ONE THOUSAND), based on the number of books I now read per month, based on how much synoptic reading I do, based on how much I recall and internalize of books I find useful, and my ability to use what I learn to find new resources at libraries, internet, seminars, etc...
Alex, I learn so much from your posts, and do not take any of your postings lightly! If you say one can absorb a book, like Edgar Cayce did, without even opening the pages, I will look into it, although I find it hard to believe.
Since I have been doing PR, I have been able to go to libraries, bookstores, and internet sites, and locate information I need much faster than usual! It seems almost magic or I guess, as LSC might term it--Natural Genius in action. I also know the real power of the subconscious, when I use the New Options Generator, Paul Scheele describes in the Natural Brilliance textbook! It is amazing how I blast through what would have seemed like insurmountable obstacles years ago!!
I know there must be other people on this post, who are feeling like I do!?
Where can I find more about this? Chris Payne also mentioned subconscious mind sharing in the teleseminar, a few months ago and now I am getting interested!
