I'm in 9th grade and I tried learning photoreading last year on May 13. I gave up on it til last week. Here's how I did it for each of the 5 chapters of the textbook the night before and the lunch right before the exam:

1: Made purpose - "To absorb key points of this chapter."
2: Went into the accelerative learning state with a mini growing tangerine tree on the back of my head
3: Previewed
4: Went into the creative state(or whatever gets you into the right hemisphere of the brain)
5: PhotoRead with eyes a little more open than usual and seeing all four corners of the textbook
6: Took a minute rest, stretched, relaxed myself, and postviewed
(hope I didn't do the process wrong, even though it worked for me)

During the test, I wasn't even thinking about finishing first. I was doing the test and then I finished 20 minutes before the class was over. I thought that I must have missed a page since the next person that turned his in was 4 minutes later. But, nope, I asked the teacher and she said that I did all of them. Now, I'm happy since the test felt easy and it was the first time I finished first without thinking that I could. I'm usually slow at things, since I'm a careful person that likes to perfect things. So there it is... my long, long testimonial.

Well done.

PhotoReading is a bit like riding a bike once you know the steps you only need to apply them. of course continuing to use PhotoReading will make it easier in the future when you need it.
