Hi,
First I would like to say that the posts on this forum helped me a lot to answer initial question on photoreading as I've got interested in it a few days ago.
There is one thing I cannot stop thinking about. When in photofocus the words of the page become blurry. How can the (unconsious) mind know what's written here since the words are only visible as a black smear?
Now I tried to see the words clearly, not blurry at all, while in photofocus. So I see the the blip page and visually overlapping words and I can recognize in the periphery of my eyes individual words. When in this "hard gaze" instead of soft gaze the white areas between the words become like small rivers, crossing the text vertically, giving rise to an unique pattern of that piece of text.
My question is, since I haven't gained any results yet, what is the best way to photofocus. Is it usefull to see the words clearly while not focussing or is the blurry vision preferable?
Thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
Roy
