Hi Folks,

I have been reading about PhotoReading and wanted to know if anyone over here has actually seen it work & help in real everyday life ?

I am thinking of enrolling for the Audio Course and wanted to get an opinion from a new photoreading person on his/her experiences (observations or frustrations) with this technique.

Any thoughts/comments would be welcome.

Regards,
Amatory Soul

Hi!

While I am not a new photoreader I would like to share with you the one problem I see many new photoreaders
experiencing.

I see the problem occuring again and again.

The problem is not having a purpose.

Purpose, purpose, purpose, purpose.

I cannot emphasize it enough.

People want to have success with photoreading. People want results with photoreading.

That being the case you have to have a purpose for photoreading to work. You have to have a goal for what you want to get from the book you have photoread.

The steps to the system are simple. They are not complicated or complex to do but you must have a purpose for photoreading to work.

Perhaps you might think I am being redundant. I only say this over and over again because I have seen many posts on this forum about people who after photoreading cannot activate or are having activation problems and it usually comes down to not having a purpose.

I share this information about purpose because I want you to be successful with photoreading and I want you to get the results you are seeking.

I suggest you search the forum. There is information going back to 2000 on this forum alone about PhotoReading. Learning Strategies has been teaching PhotoReading for 20 years now.

The only way you are going to know if it works for you is to try it for yourself. If you're not willing to do do that then it isn't going to work for you, is it?

Just think that, if PhotoReading did not work at all, how could it have survived for 20 years? You can promote any product for years, but, unless it does at least part what it claim to be delivering, it will disappear from the market for lack of sales after maybe 2-3 years..

I got my DeLuxe copy of the program, but still need to get started. My motivation in buying was to be able to read more material at work to become more knowledgeable and progress my career. In my private life, I like to read more books so I will be able to be more educated (NB I already have a PhD!) and to make better decision about anything. I have some special interests, eg ethnology and archeaology, which I like to know more about.

Like in anything, buying a product is a sort of gamble. On the forum there are countless examples of which difficulties people have found in PhotoReading and how to overcome them. There are many success stories too. As a big credit to the openess of the forums here, even harsh criticism is not eliminated. The moderator and other members try to explain why in some cases results do not appear to be as expected.

So you need to buy a product and test it yourself. You need believe that it will work for you. If it doesn't at the beginning, don't give up, but seek help. Persist and you will get a benefit out of it, which will most likely be proportional to the effort you have invested in it.

If you are short in money, try to earn a bit of extra money and save it. The effort may take you a few weeks or months, but it will make you more determined to succeed when you will be able to buy the course.

Go for it!!!!

Do you mean that it is necessary to buy the self -study course?

You need at least the book. The self-study course is a good idea if you need a helping hand with following a workable, hands on approach to learning. Seminars are for people who like to learn along side others and have a knack of starting a home study course but not finishing it.

People with a fair level of comprehension skills will manage just fine with book learning. If you have problems in this area be prepared for a larger learning curve if you are learning with the book alone.

I did not know you could only by the PhotoReading book by Paul Scheele. I own the DeLuxe course, so it doesn't matter. However, this website does not sell the book

http://www.learningstrategies.com/PhotoReading/Home.asp

In the list called Products and Events next to Paul's smiling face... the link under DVD says "book" . That takes you to the order page for the book
