i just started reading the whole mind system and im finding alot of it kinda confusing... ive got past the 4th tape but its not too clear on some stuff and going to a seminar is out of the question... maybe i can get someones aim sn here and they can help me figure stuff out. also theres the question of "pleasure reading" i really want to read pride and prejudice and a ton of other novel type books but photoreading seems like the type of thing to use on information books... so how would i use this on a novel? this isnt the most important of my questions.. i just need someone first off to im to let me know im doing this somewhat right.

You may want to do a search for novels. From what I remember, photoreading can be done with novels, but it's done a bit differently (not sure exactly how). Basically, I think for activation, you'd have to use super reading and not skittering.

Perhaps someone else knows...

So what specifically do you need help with?

basically i need a confirmation that im doing this right, cuz the only thing that happens is my head gets kinda tingly inside like something is going on... not quite sure on how to activate cuz im not that far yet. also ive yet to see the "blip" page while looking at the center of the book, i only see it when i look crosseyed. so just a further person to person convo on what to do and i think ill understand this a lil better.

Keep going with the course because you learn how to activate. Don't worry about the blip page you don't need it and definitely not by going cross-eyed.

Seeing the blip page is just a nice cue that you've relaxed your gaze. Some people see the blip page but don't notice it because they are thinking too much about getting everything right.

For novels if you're reading them for literary or required reading for school reviews I'd do a couple of activation passes with Superreading and dipping or skittering. Then Rapid Read. For pleasure reading PhotoRead and rapid read. However you won't get the 1/3rd time as a beginner you are more likely to halve your reading time then fall back into traditional passive reading. I recommend a non-fiction book from time to time so you can get more out of your pleasure reading in less time rather than falling into passive reading.

With experience you'll enjoy reading novels in times like 30 minutes to 3 hours instead of a slow 12 hour read and still get just as much if not more from your reading.
