if i were to learn this would i be able to read books on learning oh say the german language and learn to speak it fluently faster or would this not help? also can you photoread sheetmusic?

Speaking and reading are different skills. Speaking fluently requires speaking.

Photoreading however, can be very useful for learning vocabulary and grammar (i.e. by photoreading dictionaries and grammar books). And yes, one can also photoread sheetmusic. Some have found that it helps when preparing to learn new music.

so this isnt anything like the movie phenomenon with john trevolta where hes able to do genious type things and learn portugues in a matter of minuets? and i didnt mean speaking i meant learn the vocabulary and put two and two together as to which words mean relative things between the two languages.

PhotoReading will help you to process the information of a language that you are learning when you apply it to grammar books, translation dictionaries, exercises and workbooks. Teenage readers of the source language are good books to add for PhotoReading when learn a language.
