Forums IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ PhotoReading, Memory Optimizer Text doubled on PhotoFocus?

I've been trying to PR for a few weeks now, but I'm not sure if I got the Photo-Focus right. I can see the blip-page quite easily by looking through the book, but then I see the whole text doubled and extremely blurred. In that state, I certainly couldn't read anything consciously and I'm not sure if my subconscious mind can take the information then. I've read in Scheele's book and in some other topics here that the words should become somewhat clear and 3d, but I don't really understand how that should works or what it's supposed to look like.

during photoreading, blurred words is normal... so i guess you are okay. Just follow closely to the techniques taught and u will do just fine

I have a difficult time in getting Photo-Focus to work myself.

I can see the blip page on the book when I'm looking at my un-cut lengthy toenails but the blip disappears when my eyes wander up to the book. This is probably a practise thing.

One thing I wonder about is, is the Photo Focus like crossing your eyes though? It certainly seems different and is more of a strain on the eyes though the blip appears.

The words can appear sharp and in 3D. Not necessary and probably not for the first 50 or so books.

Blurred is fine.

If you are crossing your eyes you will feel a strain. It's a very relaxed feel. Have you ever gone into a day dream and were just looking out to space? That's what photofocus feels like. It's a similar gaze.

Thanks for your replies. So I suppose it should still work for me even though I see all the text dublicated and overlapping.

Martin, I think the PhotoFocus is not like crossing your eyes, it's the other way round, parallel viewing. For the difference, see these pages:

I didn't think the eyes crossing was what I should have been doing due to the strain but thought I'd ask the question anyway in case there were nuances I wasn't aware of.

I'll keep on trucking through some books - just doing it!!!
