I knew very little about Qigong until the day I first met Chunyi Lin in a workshop.
I had been traveling in Germany's Mosel Valley when I kept seeing the name "Rebstock." A name of a city, vineyard, inn, clerk at a hotel, etc. Every day for a week I came across the name.
I came home to a message on my home answering machine from Leslie Rebstock. She was the wife of Gary Rebstock, the Minneapolis anchorman who did the 6-minute story on PhotoReading, and subsequently an 8-minute piece on Spring Forest Qigong.
Leslie invited me to a workshop that weekend as her guest. Since I just came home, I wanted time to decompress and do my laundry. She insisted. I told her no, but if anything changed I would call her back.
Well, that name Rebstock kept flashing through my mind from every incident in Germany. I called her back fifteen minutes later and told her I was in.
It was a private class for a dozen friends of Leslie in the beautiful home of another one of her friends.
The first time I practiced I felt the energy--it was strong and wonderful. I couldn't stop bouncing during my exercise--Chunyi said that was my energy waking up.
Did he find me? Well, some how the Universal energy found me in Germany, so...
