Pete,
Thanks for your positive and constructive posts. There is possibility for collective transformation in these challenging times. People like yourself, and the organization you represent help make transformation possible by providing tools to accomplish that.

I have had some experience with reflection. I came by it through working with an Inuit teacher. The process came up through the making of a medicine wheel, which involved interaction with the directions. The directions are similar to the concept of the "master's energy" in qigong work. Reflection was done in the West. Reflection was the ability to see one's self. This was one part of the equation. Once that state of awareness is experienced, it is followed by release work and bringing in positive energy. With the assistance of the teacher and the collective of spirits in the West, I was able to see my whole life pass before my eyes, going from significant negative experience to negative experience in sequence. These were usually emotional in nature. They simultaneously released, faster and faster, almost like popcorn as the reflection played out. I remembered things I had forgotten. I felt permanently lighter after the initial experience. Without this particular ritual, reflection and release work were done when needed by going in the West, essentially meditating to see oneself, seeing the negative emotional problem, releasing it, and replacing it with positive energy. The ability to release the negative energy was connected to one's understanding of this energy, in the sense that you could see positive side to the event or problem, and why you didn't have to experience it in the negative sense. (I am finding it hard to communicate this process!) I think of increased wisdom if I equate this process to qigong work. Anyway, reflection is a way to see oneself, see and release negative emotions from the day, from the past, cellular memory can be addressed, etc. It is a transformational process. I think it is an important area to develop in dealing with emotions and healing. Best of luck with your new work and future offerings. Thanks again for your positive contribution to this forum at a difficult time.
