On the level I tape I have he shows placing index & middle finger together & extended, with other fingers folded in, similar to the way you point to something. Then he applies a chopping motion to the congested area. No actual contact is made. I have used this technique on my sinuses and found it to be more effective than what I've done before. I have seen a CT scan of where the polyp is in my sinus, so can easily visualize there it is & the shape. I "chop" it in 2 directions, much as you'd mince garlic or something. After only a couple of weeks of doing this, I think it's having long lasting effects! Good luck.
