Has anyone introduced SF Qigong to someone with 60+ years of reliance on western medicine and a history of medical problems such as diabetes? Especially interested in the "adaptation" period where the sysmptoms can get a bit worse on the onset.

Just curious. Thanks

I guess that about half of our Spring Forest Qigong customers are over age 60, and I have been hearing wonderful stories. A couple of weeks ago I heard from a lady in her seventies who have seen her diabetes symptoms lessened.

Why are you asking about an "adaptation period?" I don't know how to answer your statement.

Pete, thanks for the response. After revisiting the book, my question about the adaption period was answered. The book states that it mostly applies to a small percentage of people with arthritis or structural damage after accidents where the pain or the symptoms may worsen. I was mainly concerned if this would deter beginning users of continuing SF Qigong.
