The questions regarding yin yang water seem to keep coming up, regardless of all the answers posted, due to all the variables involved. In very general terms, I have heard accomplished masters promote the drinking of tea. Especially over coffee. The reason being the warmth of the liquid and its soothing or calming effect. Green tea is low in caffiene, and pretty neutral. Coffee, of course, has that added buzz, which we know is not as good for us. Although, I have certainly enjoyed it at times! There is a price to pay if usage gets extreme. The added benefit of the yin/yang water, over tea, is the fact that it is a balance, along with that soothing warmth, that you are introducing into your system. Not to say that tea drinking can't be an art in itself that can cross into an herbal activity. I would take Pete's answer, given by Master Lin , as a gauge to go by. It is "the" answer. Do your best to create a balance with your sources of water. 'Use common sense'. We do have that at our disposal. If something is "okay" , it is okay, don't get to twisted in this pursuit, there are "alot" of other things to work on. Don't start importing water from some pristine pool in the Andes that is located in a spiritual vortex. Although if you do get some in, I would love to try some for the room temp part of my yin/yang drink! -gallen
