I wrote down the following story when Master Lin was sharing it one day, however my friend Kip's experience of being there was written up in the last issue of the Spring Forest Association Newsletter and is more accurate. (the following is an "abridged" version)
[Master Lin was speaking at the 4th annual National Qigong Association meeting in August 2000. He led a ten minute group healing of a group after the talk for about 120 people. On the afternoon of the next day, I was talking with Master Lin when a man in his fortes with a southern accent walked up to him and thanked him for healing him last night. As I learned later, he had recently become a professional Qigong healer. He told Master Lin that he was able to see much better out of his left eye. He had had a stroke last August that substantially reduced his peripheral vision in the left eye and that Master Lin had reversed most of the blindness during last night's group healing. The man was ecstatic. When the healing was taking place, he said he suddenly saw the right side of his brain, where the stroke damage was, as "sand with two sand worms undulating underneath it," or "as a field of white poppies to two snakes undulating toward me under the flowers." When called two months later, he said that Master Lin's treatment lit him up as a Qigong healer and he's been doing miraculous things since he left the conference.]
