Amanda,
Going forward, I would suggest that you address you questions to whole forum. That way, more people will feel comfortable responding to your question, and you may get more helpful feedback. There are several people who can answer things related to your inquirey, and Shawn is there to make sure you get an answer that addresses the question. If it is something that requires help from Master Lin, Shawn is the link to that help, if he or someone else doesn't know. Your questions are important, they have probably been asked before in some way, shape, or form, and there are various people out there to respond to your questions and perhaps trigger insights. That said....you are on the right track as Shawn responded.
Don't expect immediate "physical" transformation. Remember that you are doing subtle energy work. As you clear blockages, the yin aspect of the blockage is cleared immediately, the yang aspect can take longer to break down. With conditions like a wart, or say something like a bunyon(sp?) on your foot...you may notice that the pain subsides as a result of your selfhealing treatment. The physical lump, or bump may remain. Just stay with it, keep clearing it along with any other blockage you find. Try not to fixate on the details. Just do your exercises, do your Level 2 healing techniques on yourself, meditate, and look forward knowing your health will improve, and you will experience shifts of personal transformation. There are conditions, where I think there is a fine line between what is the most effective method of dealing with something. If I need a haircut, I don't try to qigong my hair off.
I can go to a barber, come home, and focus my energy elsewhere. Although qigong has an affect on everything, you may want to consider just having the warts removed. It is a simple thing that western medicine can alleviate very quickly. I wouldn't consider that bailing out on the belief of what qigong can accomplish. My life is very centered around qigong, but I still go to the dentist.
