A new study looks at the effects of Qigong on Depression

Frances Gaik, a doctoral candidate in psychology at the Adler School in Chicago, is conducting a study of Spring Forest Qigong as a treatment for depression.

The two month study begins in June 2002. The study controls for the placebo effect and the levels of effect among Qigong healers. Each participant has agreed to daily practice using the video tape and audio tapes of Spring Forest Qigong, Level 1.

The results will be available in Fall 2002.
