Hi again.

I have a question about NBG. I have read some books about memory and about how you turn the information to pictures and so you can recall them better. Just as thought, could I listen the NBG, and create a model, that "automatically" uses these 'imaging abilities' and so that the "imaging ability" comes to "second nature" for me? I hope you understand what I mean.

Try it and see how that works for you. And let us know. If I understand correctly, you want to become more visual? Practicing Image Streaming, a technique developed by Win Wenger, also part of the Genius Code course, is a good way to learn to visualize and interpret the images your mind creates. The more you do this type of exercise the more it becomes second nature, increasing your ability to use intuition and see images.

Good luck!

Maggot,

I like that idea. I had an idea how you might be able to empower the project. See if you can borrow the book Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain by Betty Edwards.

The Genius Code would definately make things a lot easier to learn to think visually since it trains you and helps you to prove to yourself that you are thinking more visually. Yet even in most sports modelling seems to help improve where training seems to get stuck at a certain point.

Since it is difficult to 'see' how a person thinks visually as it is a mind process. You'll want some sort of insight into how a visual person's mind works. That book has the best insights on visual thinking that I know of (there are probably others). Betty Edwards is an artist and teaches would be artist how to flick the switch on to seeing the way an artist sees. You will realise from the book that internal visual images take a bit of practice before they show up sort of snapshot or complete and even then not always. They tend be more detailed the longer we can hold our mind focus on it. Perhaps because we are painting them in our minds eye?. If you only do one excerise from the whole book do the blind contour drawing one. I think that exercise could help folks who feel they can't image stream correctly by providing an internal reference since contour drawing has a likeness to image streaming in that you have to keep going without knowing for sure where you are going to come out.

Hard for me to say for sure if it works since have no problem thinking visually. So if you or anyone give this a go it would be great to get some feedback on it. If it works for one it could work for others as well.

Alex
