Does anyone know about the Level 3 Spring Forest Qigong course, or has anyone taken it and can shed some light on obtaining this higher part(s)?
I received Level 2 a few weeks ago and found it to be much more than I expected: truly marvelous.
After two decades of Yoga practice and teaching, I decided to try SFQ after surgery: the surgeon informed me that I would not be able to practice any exercies, not even Yoga, for a year after the surgery. Qigong seemed like a simple set of exercises without the exersion of regular exercse or the bending and twisting of Yoga. Therefore, I decided to do SFQ after the surgery. Actually, I started one week prior to sergury to get the familarity with the exercises, breathing, visualizations, and meditation.
The results have been nothing short of truly transformational and amazing. My recuperation has been excellent and without any pain medication since awakening from the operation. I have found, also, that I am able to go deeper and much faster using either the SFQ Active Exercises or its meditation technique: that deeper level of bliss, stillness and oneness is no longer the sought after mystery but a ever present and repeatable experience. Finally, I've never felt more at home in my body than since practicing SFQ.
I know, I'm just a little baby with respect to SFQ; but, I know a good thing when I find it; and, it is Spring Forest Qigong.
Having given this brief background, you can immagine how eager I am to learn more of this SFQ. Would someone, anyone, please point me in the right direction to go further .... Any and all advise, suggestions, comments is welcomed.
Thank you,

Slow down and enjoy. If you have level two, you can do alot of work, and make alot of progress. You can always make a trip to Minnesota to take the level III workshop. It expands on level II and involves some longer meditations.
Your two decades of yoga certainly count for something. Your great results, I am sure, are a result of your level of understanding.
As I said in a previous post, expand the times of level II exercises. 10,000 hands can be a long experience. Try it for 30 or 40 minutes. The time you spend in level II exercises is well spent in regards to present and future healing work on self or others.
Try doing level one exercises moving very slowly. Focus on continous, smooth, movement. No stopping or emphasis on any part of a circle. Experience the whole circle (circling movements), where hands change directions in those continuous circular movements. Continuous smooth movements as you move, complete stillness when you are still. Let you feelings explore the movements and sensations. Primordal feelings,,,big as the universe feelings, mirroring the universe's creation ( nothing/forming of yin and yang, etc. /level I active exercises)... The exercises are progressive, and you can experience them evolve, learn from them...Try doing the movement as if it were prayer..
I am glad you are having such a good experience with qigong.

Thanks gallen.
You couldn't have said it better: "slow down and enjoy."
Actually, what you are suggesting is what I've been doing and enjoying every bit of it. Sometimes I'll slow down the breathing with the movements, and with the merging of the visualizations the effects are great: sort of like a slow dance of merging with nature and life. Yes, I'm truly amazed at the depth and breath of the effects of these simple execises. I've never discounted the power of the Level I exercises either: they are truly complete in and of themselves; and, their life changing effects are part of my experiential-knowledge. The Leve II exercises are great; and, I'm still learning ways of going into the silence with them, while keeping the intergrity of the movements. The meditation technique, small universe, is a fantastic meditation tool; and, one I find I can 'run with it'and don't want to stop - really great. This coming from long time teacher of mediation and a student of several advanced meditation techniques, etc.

You are very perceptive, gallen, and I appreciate this quality. My seveal years with yoga, different energy modalities, Eastern religions and philosophies and looking into the larger areas of complimentary medicine is what drives me to learn more. What do I mean by this statement? Apart from the Active Exercises, the Meditation Techniques, and the Healing Techniques, I have learned a lot from the Level I and Level II study materials. Little things that Chunyi Lin glossed over during the course materials had significant meaning and application for me: these were sort of the threads that helped to tie and clarify other concepts and techniques outside of Qigong; these seeming trivialities opened a larger vista of understanding and comprehension for me with respect to the broader understanding of life, spirituality and the ancient wisdoms. I really don't want to get too arcane, philosophical or technical because true value and greatness lies in SIMPLICITY; but, believe me there is a wealth of wisdom in the 'tib bits' of the material of both courses, and ancilliary to the main topics or points. It is the yearning for more of this deeper wisdom and unity of understanding (if I may label it such) why I am interested in going further to the other levels. Technique wise, I have enough techniques to last several lifetimes, and then some. However, the understanding and wisdom that allows one to share, help or heal (not merely physically, but more so mentally and spiritually) another person is the force that drives me on.

Simply stated, I've gone too far to stop now. When life calls, you answer; when the door opens, you enter; when understanding dawns, you AWAKEN.
And, I have not forgotten, thank you very much for your kind advise.
