what can you expect when you master qigong? how long does it take to master? does anyone have had any experiences or know whether qigong can help/cure acne or other skin related diseases?

Yes it can help skin disorders/acne. According to traditional Chinese medicine, the lungs are responsible for supplying the skin with nutrients. The lungs are one of the primary organs that benefit from qigong practice. Qigong would be a good place to start.
I doubt that you would "expect" anything upon reaching the level of being a master. There isn't a straight answer for how long it takes. "Master" is a level of accomplishment in a field that is recognized by others,or one's teacher/teachers, and inspires or warrants respect. It doesn't have a fixed time or pre-established time to reaching it. Everyone, and everyone's situation is different.

from what i know, qigong also helps you control the body functions that normally are governed by the subconcious(scientifically, not mentioning the energy flow), acne problems are caused by overactive glands, so i think that qigong could make the glands act normally, and also what gallen said about the lungs.
