Hello all,

I wanted to know what was so special/unique about this course. There are lots of qiqong books/videos out there and which are a lot less pricey.

Could anyone tell me how I would benefit from this course , that I would not get anywhere else.

Kind regards,
blue_sky

It is okay for something good to cost something.
SFQ is well worth the money, "if" you actually do it, and incorporate it into your life. Master Lin's higher purpose is felt thoughout the material. The courses are very complete, very well done, and lead somewhere very benefical to you. You learn active qigong exercise, inactive(meditation), and also how to do healing work on others. Most other systems don't cover this, and, have progressive levels going forward in these categories.

Ahhh... I just sent an email to some people who had an issue with the price. Here it is...

-----

A couple hundred dollars is expensive, especially when you consider that there are so many books and video tapes on the market for $20. But, what are you getting for your $20?

A combination of a few different Qigong movements? Probably.

But, have you ever wondered where those people got the movements, and how they chose them out of the 15,000 Qigong movements there are? Did they choose them at random?

Our Qigong Master, Chunyi Lin, studied Qigong for twenty years with some of the most respected Masters in China. Chunyi Lin has advanced to the point that he can actually see energy just as you can see these words on the screen.

Chunyi Lin chose simple movements that direct energy to flow through the body in such a way that the body heals itself. You may remember the astonishing testimonials with near miraculous healings.

Can the guy who did the video for $20 see the energy? Does he know what effect his movements have on the body? Probably not.

Have thousands of people gone to this guy for personal healing sessions? Probably not. People wait for months to be able to see Chunyi Lin.

Have over 10,000 people studied directly with the guy who did the $20 video? Probably not. Chunyi Lin's classes are filled.

Have another 20,000 people studied using the $20 video tape? Probably not. But, tens of thousands have used Chunyi Lin's tape program.

With Chunyi Lin, you are trained by a Master with an unprecedented record of healing successes and tens of thousands of people who study his techniques. He is the real McCoy--not a wanna be.

If you want to learn something, learn from the best.

The $20 video alone won't cut it.

Even if the guy on the video was a genuine master, you have to know that a video alone doesn't cut it. The Spring Forest Qigong Personal Learning Course includes audio tapes, a video tape, a course manual, and a CD. It was specially developed for learn-at-home use.

Please forgive me if I come across as strong, but this course is good. The use of Spring Forest Qigong can have a great impact on your life. I want to make sure you have every opportunity to use it.

And, I want you to get benefit from it. That's why when you have questions, you can call one of our coaches or visit our Discussion Forum. We will be there to help you as much as we possibly can. By the way, will you get this kind of service from the $20 video guy?

You get what you pay for.

Still, a couple of hundred dollars is a lot of money.

Is it worth it?

If you are sick, or if you have recurring problems such as stress, migraines, sinus problems, arthritis, etc., then it is a no-brainer. The relief, the freedom, will be worth the cost.

If you are healthy, is it worth the cost? Well, it depends how much you value having more energy... how much you value not getting sick... how much you value a healthy lifestyle...

If you don't have time right now to use the course, get it anyway. Put it on your table, your night stand, your bookshelf--some place where you will see it. You will eventually use it. And, with the 6-month guarantee, you have plenty of time.

I use Spring Forest Qigong every day. I use it for my personal energy. I use it to ward off illness. I use it to heal quickly when I cut myself (which I've done a lot lately, because I'm building a house). And, I use it to help other people heal themselves.

I'm helping one friend with a back problem avoid surgery. I'm helping another cut down on her diabetes medicine. And, I am helping another friend to stay off her allergy medicine.

How much is that worth?

With the cost of health care going through the roof, a couple of hundred dollars is nothing.

If buying the course means giving up movies for a while, or eating home, or making your shoes last longer, or not stopping by Starbucks, do it. How will Starbucks help you enjoy a long, richly rewarding and healthful life?

This is the most comprehensive and useful course available for improving your health and well-being. We don't think there is anything else like it, or anything that even comes close. The results can be stunning for you.

I just purchased SFQ2. Am i concerned about the amount of $$$ i spent. Well, if i was, then i guess i should be concerned about the $1350 i just spent to fly to India

Swami says: You may want stuff in the store, but it's not there for free. If you pay the price for the item, you can walk out of the store w/ it. Not otherwise.

Master Chunyi Lin is teaching and instructing and guiding people in the practices of Qigong. I'm paying to learn Master Lin's SFQ. He's offering a product not a philosophy. Why would anyone who wants to purchase a product have a problem w/ paying for it?

what about cows? and milk?

i guess if i was the daughter of Master Lin, i'd get to learn SFQ for free

there is something about being in the family and getting stuff for free; but being in the family also often brings about responsibility and living up to the family name

Thanks to all of you to take time to reply.

My main concern was what exactly I would be getting for this course. I recently read the book Microcosmic orbit meditation by Mantak Chia. Chia seems to suggest that the end of all qiqong practices is the microcosmic orbit meditation and is what matters most.

So my question is- why bother with all the other stuff if all you really need is the microcosmic orbit meditation(I really apologize if this sounds rude, just that I am a qiqong newbie and trying to learn stuff).

Best regards,
blue_sky

No need to apologize. It is good to ask questions.
Mantak Chia is an accomplished master. I have a few of his books for reference. My favorite is the fusion of the five elements.I find most of his methods way too complicated in comparison. He is specifically Taoist in method. I love Taoist..but, there are other valuable qigong sources to utilize.
His body of work is not connected in the sense of it being a cohesive path to follow.
Micro cosmic orbit is important. Again, there are many shades of gray regarding peoples individual needs regarding practice, growth, and concrete results. Active exercise shouldn't be discounted. Especially for beginning qigong practioners. That blanket statement doesn't take in account better results from other things at different levels. I do think you can maintain physical health with the orbit exercise, but I see that happening at a higher level of practice. Even at that, there are other aspects of qigong to involve oneself in and experience. The healing aspects of SFQ, and the ability to heal others is more unique to SFQ. Healing work can go beyond one's own health.

Ah, what is one man's passion is another man's poison. What may work for one, may not work for another. The only way you'll know is if you try Spring Forest. There's a 6 month guarantee if you find it isn't for you, they'll refund your money.

I love that the exercises are easy to do and not too complicated so that one would not give up trying to perform them. The K.I.S.S. method is always the best.
