I was wondering if I could use the sword finger technique on accupressure points to help others.

Hi-
In general, sword fingers are used for breaking up energy blockages, with the exception of putting energy into the kidneys.
There would be no reason to use sword fingers on an energy point, if there wasn't a blockage there. It "is", good to know specific points, not necessary, but useful. I see them as more useful in putting energy in, with the palm/palms, relative to an area where you have cleared a "blockage" out. For example: If I am clearing the C7 and shoulders, maybe down the arms... After I have cleared out any blockages, one of the areas I might put energy into, is the jianjing points, on top of the shoulders, midway between the spine and arm, seeing the energy go in there, and move it down the arm with my minds eye to the laogong points in the palms, energizing the length of that connection. Just being aware of key points is useful sometimes. This is not the way one has to do it, just a possibility. They can be places you highlight or emphasize as you energize an area, or areas that help make connections between points. The method of detecting and removing blockages, then putting energy in , is superior to just putting energy in. If one has a problem, there is a blockage. The blockage needs to be broken up and removed. It is, where it is, irrelavent to accupressure points. Knowing the points can be useful. Learn more SFQ healing technique and utilize your knowledge of points in conjunction with its approach to healing. Use it as a guide to insuring a correct approach to qigong energy healing and proper technique.
