After visiting my semi-competent GP, I was told the small painless nodules covering my genitals and called 'Sebaceous Cysts'. Apparently, they are completely harmless and there is no treatment. However, after a little research I found there is - they can be removed. But, I think only very large cysts can be removed and I have a large number of very small cysts. Do you think SFQG is any good for eliminating the presence of Sebaceous Cysts? I have only just ordered the course so it is still in transit . . .

Hi, I am not familiar with your condition, but that doesn't matter, and qigong is a good place to start. By pursuing alternative treatment, you can become a more active participant in your own health. Try not to judge your doctor's lack of ability to help you. I am sure it was not intentional. Give them the benefit of that doubt. By starting qigong work, you are doing the best you can to start on a path of self healing work. Don't fixate on your condition. Just think of yourself energetically, as possibly having blockages, or being out of balance. Lose the vocabulary (sebaceus cysts). Don't think, " I have sebaceus systs." You want to open up, release blockages, and balance your energy. Follow the course you have ordered, and stick with it. You may want to simultaneously seek additional help from a good Chinese doctor involving herbs, diet, or accupuncture... Not because qigong won't work. It is related. You may learn more, and be able to affect your blockage/blockages on other fronts. I guess I am thinking diet, or, possibly herbs. No hurry with that. Start your qigong exercises, first, then start reading up Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theories, five element theory, etc... Be your own complete healer. It is "most" important that you start with the qigong and establish that lifestyle exercise. Hopefully, that will be all you need, and it is the best bottom line to helping any condition. Sometimes the other TCM approaches may trigger other insights or make you more informed about what you are doing with qigong, or, give you the language and understanding. I wish you success in you self healing pursuits.

Thank you very much gallen. I only just this morning received the package and have skimmed through the material. One thing of interest to me particularly here - it says something about the physical signs of a blockage may take longer to disappear than the actual blockage itself. In my case, taking into consideration it is only a minor problem and also that I am a beginner, how long exactly is being suggested before the physical side can be observed (the cysts)? Are we talking weeks, months, or even years??

Yes. :-) We are talking weeks, months, or years. I would also add the possibility of never. You can't put everyone, and their situation,in reference to a time that it takes to do something, or have something happen. It has mostly to do with you, rather than, the qigong. Qigong works, no question. It is a tool in "your" hands. You must have wanted to change something, as you did some research, yourself, and decided to order a qigong course that might change your current situation. I would be surprized if a blockage related to these cysts, was in the actual location of these cysts, or , was the cysts, although energy needs to move, freely, through there. They are the physical aspect or manifestation of something that you can see. What does that tell you? Something is off, and, it is something you can't see. The part you can't see is the important part to address. Qigong will address that part you can't see. Is it emotional? Very well could be, I don't know. Is it connected to a major organ in the body that is crucial to healthy living. Might be...Qigong will help that organ, if that is the case, and everything connected to it. The cysts, the location of the cysts, is just a sign that something is off. You are seeing only one thing, and it is on the outside. Qigong works on the inside. The outside changes with inside work. It outside and inside mirror themselves. At some point, you may even be able to see the inside. Master Lin can. How long does that take? Maybe soon, maybe never. You "can" trust the exercises to take care of you. "Knowing things" takes some work. Like how long, or why. It is an ongoing process. An opportunity to enlighten yourself. I would choose qigong over any other healing modality. I would be open to other things too. Herbs came to mind, diet, etc., so I mentioned them. I just threw that out. Maybe massage techniques. I am just thinking out loud concerning the possible clearing or speeding up of, the release of the actual cysts. The outside part. I am just thinking of possibly speeding up the cosmetic recovery. I am not saying , "if qigong doesn't work , try these..." Focus on just the qigong for awhile. Re-evaluate the cosmetic part later on. Give it your all. Be positive. Again, that doesn't determine whether it works or not. It keeps getting back to that good, better, best idea.

Sometimes communicating through this medium is tricky. Please take my last message in the best light. You have power. Don't focus on the obvious, it is a distraction to where you should be focusing. Don't think ahead, stay in the present. Everything will be fine. I read my last post, and wasn't comfortable with it, in that it may be misinterpreted. Must be the full moon. It is my desire for qigong to work for you,,,,,I just lay it all out based on my sense of "your" message.
