Okay, forgive me... I'm new and I'm not familiar with what's already been discussed about holosync. I just went over the sales letter and did the demo, and this stuff seems like it's a copy of the Hemisync technology by Robert Monroe (of the Monroe Institute).

I also noticed that there's plenty of "back end" products. I mean seriously, do you really have to go 12 levels deep in order to be happy with yourself? The whole idea just reminds me of my experience with the church of scie... hrmm, nevermind, where everything just keeps getting more expensive as your need for "deeper learning" in slowly increased (gee I wonder why).

Maybe I'm wrong, but this just seems to be a money funnel. I am currently using a technology called "The Work" by Byron Katie. Here URL is:

Anyway, it's late and I'm just ranting, because this seems like yet another "Give me your money" approach to things. It seems to be a big money funnel. Can someone clear this up.

If you have not tried this program for over 6 months, and merely want to express your "opinions" or "theory" about holosync, please don't reply. I'm looking for people who have actually USED this program.

I'm on the Holosyn program for now three years. When I started on the Awakening Prologue I decided to buy the whole program
because it is so cheap compared to the Church of Sci., Knowledgism, Avatar and similar techs.
The program has not fullfilled my full expectation yet but I have significant improvements to show for.
ie. feeling more secure, attract more lucky
incidents, less stressed, in the social arena my cronic envy has disappeared.
I am more healthy and hardly get colds anymore.

I do not think the CRI is cult because it unlike scientology and others it has no "save the world schemes" and has no followers but just customers.

There was this one CD I saw in a catalog a while back form Ideah Seminars that would induce a Kundalini Awakening state. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I am not familiar with HoloSync, about the only program I know of that is cultish or new age is the programs/courses by NeoTech.

here's a recent topic on Kundalini from the Astral Pulse forum. It's long, but worth it.
Especially take note of Robert Bruces answers, he knows what he's talking about.
Kundalini is a life-changing, energy heavy, enlightening sort of thing. It's not like you raise it once and be done with it - it can be life-threatening!

I checked out "The Work." The basic premise reminds me of Quantum Psychology - which is what happens when a bunch of occultists decide to adapt traditional psychological methods. The leading authors in that feild at Robert Anton Wilson and Christopher Hyatt.

Is The Works a good book or Quantum Psychology (maybe both)?

You're very perceptive. I recently suffered a deep personal loss, which has made me cynical. I am familier with the work of Hyatt from reading his "Tree of Lies," and I know Wilson mostly from his science-fiction. I haven't explored The Work beyond their website, but as the CD set is on order from my local library, I will check into it.

In truth, I have nothing but respect for occultists who have a unique take on psychology.

You said that you know absolutely NOTHING about "The Work" and you claim that they remind you of the occult?

Did you even READ anything on that website or listen to the audio files? The Work is about meeting your own painful thoughts with some understanding, so that they will let go of their hold on your (or vise versa).

Before you judge, insinuate, infer, or assume... check it out. It might be just what you're looking for.

I said that The Work reminds me of Quantum Pyschology. Christopher Hyatt has translated the Lesser Key of Solomon, illustrated a book on Enochian Sex Magic, and is the author of the Quantum Psychology book "Tree of Lies." Robert Anton Wilson peppers his science-fiction with numerious occult references, although he has never (to my knowledged) published any how-to books on occultism. Robert Anton Wilson is widely read in Chaos Magic circles.

I said that the Work reminds me of Quantum Psychology. Quantum Psychology is the results of occultists with PhD's in psychololgy. I have neither said, nor implied, anything more.
