(Er.. Extreme :P )

I work in IT, and im in a position where I spend at least 40 hours a week on intense studying of technical material (mostly reading, but not stuff you can speed read threw).

My goals are primarily to increase my comprehension and retention of material I read and secondly my speed of PROCCESSING the material (not reading it). My current system is...

Listen to Personal Genius.

Study for 8 hours (breaking to ponder, eat etc.) During this time im listening to Mozart Effect Volume 1 (just a set of Mozart songs selected for their tempo supposedly ideal for studying)

Then before bed I listen to (alternating the order each day)

Memory Supercharger
Speed Reading - Hypnosis NLP (Christopher Wayne Morrison)

Any tips tricks or thoughts to help me reach my goal would be appreciated. Keep in mind this is not pleasure reading, imagine your most difficult coarse in college's text book. I go threw 1 of those a week. And Ill have to keep that pace for the next 20 years.

ANY help is appreciated, I don’t care how crazy it sounds :P
