OK Im so New to this I'm just considering the overwhelming array of products when I happen upon this post from "Er.. Extreme :P"
This is So Much ME It's not funny. I'll be a bit more specific. Its just a hotmail account so write to me if you want to. But if you have quality insight you should post it here. I'm a programmer. I'll be an MCSD real soon only one more exam 2-Go. I have a few years development experience but in today's economy I'm competing with degreed professionals. I'm working in a semi-related field at present but I'm not writing code. The money is no where near he same and I have a family to feed, kids starting expensive high schools, Cars to replace, student loans to repay balh blah,.
Mr. "Er.. Extreme :P" knows how devastating this is with .net and XML and the new Windows DNA and crap to keep up with let alone not being active in the field at present. I have senario and multiple choice questions to master. There's two theories here, I could memorize answers from internet postings from actual exam successes. That gets me certified , perhaps even a great job, but eventually one has to apply these "supposedly" mastered skills. SO now there the comprehension concept.
I feel a couple of products may be of interest to me the Memory Supercharger and the PhotoReading self study. I heard of you on a local Christian Radio Station (more on that in a second) and decided "Photo Reading" warrented at least an internet search. Any advice is appreciated. I am waivering between "it's a get rich quick scheme", "it's a valid practical technique", and "it's a freeky cult." My goodness some of the posts in here get deeper than theology debates.
I just want to comprehend difficult complex structures and methodologies swifter than I have been. I.E. Visual C++, C#, JAVA, seven hundred page textbooks in a couple to three days with 70% comprehension. If I could get 50% I'd be happy to re-read with focus on what I'm weak on. What are the basics theories of the two above cited disciplines I have assumed appropriate for my needs? Are there more appropriate tools from LSC to assist me? I'm pretty clever, I made MCP & passed my previous exams quite quickly, and I learn quickly. I have never attempted to speed read with any comprehension before.
I'm firmly grounded in Christ so all of that Holistic transindential, Purification, Awakening Prologue 5, Resurfacing, and rebirth excersises whoozie whatzie in the "Beyond Human" and other postings almost blew me away from your products. Just for you information. But alas there's a money back guarentee so I persist.
