I'm currently healthy and have never had any major health issues.

I get the odd cold, but that's still very rare.

Do I need to invest in this program?

I'm very interested in it, but it seems to talk about curing people.

I have no illnesses, so will it give me more energy and make me feel better about myself.

Thanks.

Qigong is preventative, rather than reactive. Of course, most people who find out about qigong in the West start looking for it and/or into it only after they have something that needs changing.

I believe the FAQ on the Spring Forest Qigong page explores the issue of people with no health problems benifiting from qigong pratice.

You'll need less sleep and you can learn to heal people!

"less sleep"

How so?

I get 7-8 hours at the moment. What could I reduce this to?

Where's the evidence for this?

That's a bold claim so I would like to know how this works.

I think the less sleep comes from the meditation. I believe it is common experience with all meditation methods. I and others have even notice a reduction in need when using the paraliminals.

However, I don't think you end up with a net gain of time. It's just the time you spend with meditations is about what you save on during your sleep cycle.

I've recently started rising an hour early to do half an hour of active Qigong exercise and half an hour of meditation. I can't say that I'm the worse for the wear. If fact I quite energetically got up and 5 this morning and quietly snuck down stairs.

Qigong, isn't my only exercise but it will be one that I will always do now. I am interested in the healing aspects, not as a career but to help those I care about.

The opportunities await you need but choose your path,
Iam2

Well, I get up an 530am anyway, for work, no choice about that.

However, I should be moving to a new job soon (fingers crossed) which will start at 9pm.

As I'm used to early mornings, I could rise at 630am or 7am and still have time to do some Qigong.

I'm still thinking about this.I did the free teaser move where you outstrectch you arms and bring them together.

I've had a bit of a funny chest and back at the moment (nothing serious) but I have to admit that I did feel better all round after that exercise.

We'll see, I'll have to wait on the job offer to see if I can afford it.

Thanks

"less sleep"

--How so?--

Doing Qigong helps build more energy in your body, as well as keeping you from losing large amounts of energy during the day. Need proof? Master Lin only sleeps two hours a night!

*Plus, if done right, 20 minutes of meditation can equal up to 4 hours of sleep.
