I find at times when doing the Small universe I go into the emptiness and can't remember at what point in the body I should be concentrating the engery on.

Happen to anyone?

Love and Light to you all.

Aloha Michael,

Taking a breather from the Retreat forum to visit us?

Going into the emptiness while doing the small universe (or any of the meditations), is good.

When you come back, just pick back up at the point which you're led to.

Much Love, Shawn

All the time . I wasn't thinking it was emptiness I was in but more like getting lost or interrupted with the inner babbler.

I like Shawn’s response of carry on where you are guided . Unfortunately thinking about it only fuels the babbler .

Shawn,

I just happened to know that you might be lurking here.

Well, that's a relief, thought that one must have absolute concentration during the entire process ... that was not the case for me.

I do too.

I also get out of synch with the audio oooooms.

I get deeply involved with moving the energy.

I'll take the moment to complain about this tape. I swear the oooom are not rhymthic or even (not the same time for inhale and exhale).

Don't I hear ooom and mooo on the tape? However, instruction says to inhale in both sounds and to move during the silence.

LOL, we are bro’s under the sun for sure. You are correct, they are not rhythmic, or same length. You are correct about the oooM. Mooo sounds. I did not notice the reversal before but that is in the manual as well. I think if it was too rhythmic it might get hypnotic causing a trancing out effect. It is good training for the focusing the mind as is.

Aloha my Canadian friends and Ascending1,

Don't about the mind chatter. It's just extra energy -maybe coffee energy? What can help refocus is hearing and feeling the Omm and Moahh vibrating in the area the energy ball is in. Of course another option when the chatter distracts, is to connect with the password again.

Much Love, Shawn

Maybe I'm imagining it, but I feel as though the oooom and moooo are much longer at the heart and kidney points - could it be that they are key points? Sometimes when I get lost and there is no verbal guidance about where I should be, if I have an idea that it's close to one of those two points and the sound is longer, I start there and move on. It usually ends right on with the CD.

Shawn,

There were some fantastic shots ... I really love the one with Pete and Paul.

Well, I have to reset the clock, had a coffee Saturday to celebrate my little one's 1st Bday!

Have not had one since. Kinda ackward walking into a coffee shop with the wife and little ones and asking to drink milk!

I read Michael's post and was wondering about the reference to resetting clock and coffee I did a search and can't find any information about coffee. I would appreciate someone shedding light on coffee and it's effects (if any) on the practice of SFQ Thanks!
