I've started to drink this sesame seed tonic per the SFQ level II course. I understand that it strenghtens the very important kidney energy. Does anyone know property black sesame seeds have that does that?

Thanks,
Drrayman

Hey! I asked the same question.

BTW, I'm still waiting for the answer. How do you like chewing those bloated seeds?

Yes, I agree. It would be nice if, when one states that a certain food does enhance the body, how it actually goes about doing this would give the food more validity.

Nooo the validity is not increased by my understanding. It exist regardless of my mental state... or does it?

It may be that it's not a chemical. Or that it's not chemically known. It may just be knowledge that those with true third eye ability have observed.

I had tied flax seed into my question. This may or may not be a seed known in asian. I may have just intuitively picked up on similar energies... then again I just may be hunting.

I'll still ask questions and seek knowledge... it what I like to do.

LOL Life is fun Mayflower. Consider me one of it's gifts to you.

Of course you may want a receipt so you can return it.

Aloha you fun people!

I've just added a piece to another post of mine in regards to using the seeds other than the broth or powder form.

For those flowerful ones amongst us that would like to read more information on black sesame seeds from a traditional Chinese viewpoint, a pretty good reference for this seed and other foods was shown to me today and supported by two other colleagues at work: Healing with Whole Foods: oriental traditions & modern interpretations, by Paul Pichard.

Much Love, Shawn

*ps sesame seeds should be ground up before eating or cooking to make them more digestible. They become even more digestible with soaking and then lightly pan roasting before grinding. The broth method helps this.

Mayflower seems to imply that we're not usually happy people on this forum.

Time for a few jokes then: did you hear the one about an acupuncturist who was arrested in a wholefood store for taking pulses. I hope all the words here convey the same meaning in American English.

And talking of jokes, there is a whole state that could do with us sending it qigong and lots of joy after its recent 'Arnie experience' or have I missed part of the plot from my vantage point over here in the UK.

Sorry, Shawn, I'm off task here and accept the slapped wrist - just couldn't believe what my radio told me this morning.

Love, Kev
