Latest update on Kathy’s condition:
Yesterday I went to visits her and was amazed at how bright her spirit was. She was talkative, humorous, comical and in some ways very vibrant. I think the doctors and nurses were probably confused by all the laughter coming from her room yesterday. She still is in the intensive care ward area, only because there has not been an opening of a room for her to be moved out to. They want to move her to a more comfortable surrounding but unfortunately it has not happened, any visitors really have to stand while visiting. This is taxing on her mother but a minor concern considering the alternatives.
The doctors are blown away as they had not expected her to last this long let alone regain any of the vitality she has been showing. The doctors keep stopping by on occasion with there needles expecting her to be in some kind of discomfort and offering her a variety of drugs. She basically says no to this (blows there mind) and will only take Tylenol for a headache. From the doctors (limited) perspective they see this as acknowledgement that she is preparing to go.
As it turns out she is the one who wanted the tubes pulled out and is saying no to any further attempts from the doctors. Personally I think on a spiritual level she is either preparing to go or allowing herself to receive the healing that is flowing to her from so many compassionate hearts. My gut says that (even if not on a conscious level) she is spiritually opening up herself and allowing herself to receive healing that is more powerful than anything the doctors can provide.
In either case regardless of the damage western medicine has inflicted upon her physical self her spiritual self is intact and more vibrant than ever. She is currently jovial and painless with out drugs and this is a miracle in itself.
Please continue to send your prayers and healing as time allows for you. I would like to encourage and invite you to continue to share your feelings, and experience here. I am considering printing out this thread and giving it to her mother as I know it would help her immensely. When Kathy is well enough (thinking positive here) my hope is that this can be shared with her as well. Feel free to share any kind words of hope, inspiration and insight that you feel inspired or guided to.
Thank you all for your unconditional willingness to assist her in her time of transformation to well being.
She also sends her love, thanks and appreciation to all of you as well.
