Unless you're a beginner, I would recommend no music at all. Music tends to have emotional content, and this engenders an attachment which need not be. It's either a distraction from the silence or one becomes dependent upon it for focusing.

Ultimately, exercise or meditation in the silence is best. Even if you're dependent on the music, a daily morning practice should be done in silence and you can put on your CD or tape later in the day. I never felt comfortable depending on external devices such as CDs or tapes on a permanent long-term basis. Ask yourself the question - What if you were marooned on an island without electricity? (Or a power blackout?) Do you have enough resources within you to continue your practice?

If you cultivate the emptiness in your everyday activities, then it's not much of a chore to enter that state when you do your practice - you're already there. Silent meditation has much to recommend it - never underestimate its value.

Your question about Holosync and SFQ has been asked many times in this forum. Holosync uses a different approach to affecting your energy. Why combine the two together?
