Rich23,

Based on your description, you should certainly be well energized with the amount of practice you do. The classic symptoms you describe and my brief tuning into you indicate that your aura has been damaged and is leaking your energy.

Anyone who undertakes energy work should always protect the integrity of their energy field, or you end up losing your hard-earned gains.

Rich23:
When I first started practicing SFQ, I too stopped it for a while then went back to it, then stopped it again, then went back to it. One thing mentioned by Gallen, with his usual wisdom, is to try not to force the practice. This is something I have learned. Meditate, do the breath work and active exercises and the benefits of SFQ will become a reality. I agree with Ascending1 about just relaxing and going with it - follow the guidance of Master Lin and have faith in the process. SFQ, for me, has been subtle (and gradual) energy work rather than something that has "hit me over the head". I encourage you to be patient, do the exercises, and have no expectations. Trust that you will be rewarded.

Hi Shr33m,
Good to hear from you. I hope you consider participating in the group healing sessions on Saturdays...
I did get around to reading Power vs Force. Enjoyed it very much. Important book, regardless of one's experience level.
Rich23,
Regardless of what is said about your experience, keep your focus, best you can, on your qigong program. It is an excellent tool to move you forward, increase your self awareness, and make progress in general, on your path. Your initial post holds alot of frustration with lots of thought revolving around complexity of focus in the exercises, and also brings up low energy, depression and anxiety. This is alot of stuff, especially if you bring it into your exercise session. Regardless of the cause of your less than desired experience, your practice of qigong is as good as any other modality(SfQ being an excellent program, and complete), for moving your state of being to a better place. You may have to let go of some of the detail to really relax, and lighten up. You can always leave out some detail, if it helps you relax. Always listen to, and support, the highest aspect of your spirit. On some level, you know what is good for you, and what is not, whether that is making a choice, or sitting in something.

Regarding Shr33m's observation, don't let this ad to your anxiety! Obviously, there is selfwork for you to do, as with all of us. You have the tools, just take one step at a time, love yourself, be good to yourself. The master's energy(spiritual energy) is not limited in what it can do. If you don't know how to do something, or how to move forward, focus on that relationship with the master's energy. Do your work, ask for help. You are self empowered. Montitor your thoughts. Stop the negative ones from completing. This is work, but you will give your mind a rest, and cease any self manifested difficulty.
love,
gallen

Gallen, Glad to hear that you enjoyed the book. Did you realize that it's only the first book of a trilogy?

Thanks for the group healing tip. I'll check it out.
