When I first started practicing SFQ, I too stopped it for a while then went back to it, then stopped it again, then went back to it. One thing mentioned by Gallen,with his usual wisdom, is to try not to force the practice. This is something I have learned. Meditate, do the breath work and active exercises and the benefits of SFQ will become a reality. I agree with Ascending1 about just relaxing and going with it - follow the guidance of Master Lin and have faith in the process. SFQ, for me, has been subtle (and gradual) energy work rather than something that has "hit me over the head". I encourage you to be patient, do the exercises, and have no expectations. Trust that you will be rewarded.
