I think I said these were ideas of mine. I haven't committed to them as beliefs. SFQ is my only experience with energy work. I have never studied martial arts (two lessons at university don't count). Although I have found a style I do wish to someday study.
Everything I see here makes a lasting impression. 
However, the word ego jumped out at me like a burning ember, because it contrasts with the humility that Master Lin embodies.
I can't comment on the relative merits of SFQ because I come from ignorance. I appreciate other's experience, but I can not own them just by the observing. I can learn from them though and so my future beliefs may be built upon what you share and for that I am very grateful.
