Dear Shawn, Gallen and others:

I believe it would be very valuable to celebrate the success of this discussion forum by inviting you both (our fearless leaders!) as well as all other discussion forum participants to dinner on November 14th as a kick-off to the weekend festivities and so that we can meet each other in the flesh and have some fun.

What do you think? Is there a good restaurant nearby the hotel where we could gather on Friday night? I know you may be busy with organizing the weekend event, but I hope we can get a good group together and share all the victories of the past year.

Thank you.
Agent B

Grrrr.
(Deep breath. Feel the emotion. Release it and use it's energy for my purpose.)

I hope you have a nice night guys.

You are perfection.
Iam2

P.S. Watch it when it comes to treating Shawn. He looks like he can really pack a lot away.

How I wish!
For those of you that can make this dinner - have a wonderful time - Iam2 and others like me who are obviously too far away this time, and probably feeling a little less than lucky right now, will get to meet you when it's meant to be!

Agent B,
Thank you for invitation. Someday we will hopefully meet. I won't be at the SFQ annual meeting. I have a show I am doing in Washington, DC. I will be working around the clock that weekend, and leaving early in the week. Please understand, that I am 'officially', just another forum paricipant. I am not involved in organizing this event. Someday!

I'm going to be attending from out of state, and would very much like to meet other folks from the forum. Thanks for making this suggestion, Agent B!!

Hey, Agent B, wish I could be there too. Would enjoy meeting fellow forum members. Perhaps at some other event. Have a wonderful time!

P.S. Wasn't the eclipse this weekend fabulous? On Sunday morning, the moon was still so brightly visible. I drove to the grounds of this huge cathedral about 20 minutes from my home, where I knew I would get a good view. Took some pictures of the moon going down (which I hope turn out okay), then turned in the opposite direction and watched the sun come up. Talk about spiritual!

Aloha All,

Iam2funny: It's good to see you were taking in what Paul was sharing during the retreat, and no, I never much cared for the fasting parts of level III and IV retreats ; )

Galen: Have a productive show. I'm sure you'll be joining us throughout the weekend. Fearless leader implies nothing official, other than an acknowledgement of your generosity in sharing of your experience and compassion. Thank you for that.

Agent Bringing people together: That sounds like a great idea.

May I make the suggestion that we do dinner Saturday night, as I will be heading over to the event Friday right after work to help get things ready, and will need to get some sleep (or at least allow Darcie to get some sleep that night).

Saturday looks like:
7:00am-8:30am - Registration

12:00pm-2:00pm Lunch Time
I believe there will be time here for private healing sessions.

8:30am to 4:30pm Event

4:30-7:30 - Open
(time for private healing sessions, meeting people, sharing, dinner, etc.)

7:30-9:00pm Special Healing Meditation

My wife will be doing the private healing sessions during lunch and that 4:30-7:30pm time, so I'll need to work it out with her schedule and the baby's "Need to Feed" schedule.

Depending on how many she has signed up, she may be able to join us also.

Good food in downtown Minneapolis?

My suggestions that will fill the tummy without emptying the wallet:

Quangs: Vietnamese
If you live in the cities and haven't been there, here's your chance. Inexpensive, nummy, authentic food in decent portions. Only on the weekend can you get their Shrimp and Sea Bass soup.

Taco Morales: Authentic Mexican
This tucked away Mexican restaurant will have you put the Don Pablo's to the "Good", of the "Good Better, Best"

King and I Thai: Thai
A little more spendy, but probably the best Thai in town (no, don't email me -there are many very good Thai restaurants in Mpls).

Mystery Restaurant
"Back in the day" when I was running university housing, we had a convention at the Hyatt and there was a quaint little restaurant on the 3rd floor I think, where the kitchen was right in the middle of the establishment. I don't know if that's good Feng Shui, but their BBQ'd tuna Kabobs were very good.

*I believe there are some restaurants on one of the levels or skyways, so we can grab something there or head to the other places mentioned that are a quick 5 minute drive from the hotel. We can decide when we get there.

**Agent B, would you want to make a sign and have us meet in the lobby after the last afternoon event Saturday, or do you have another idea?

***You all may want to just get together Friday night, and I'll run into you throughout the event (I'll be the guy with the baby tending to hang out with a wonderful woman named Darcie.

****Whatever you all want to create, just let me know and I’ll do what I can support it and be there. I may end up bringing a little friend. He drinks a lot, but isn’t much for appetizers or entrees.

Much Mahalo, Shawn

Shawn

Am I picking up from this thread that you are generously proportioned or is there another message being conveyed here?

Love,

Kev

Thanks for all the good suggestions Shawn.

How about this...

On Friday night, I'll have a sign in the lobby ("SFQ Celebration Forum") and I'll be there at 6:45Pm and then at 7:00pm we will walk to a restaurant nearby. I will leave word with the front desk where we are going so if you come in later and want to join us you can catch-up. Anita, I'm really looking forward to meeting you.

On Saturday night, We can meet at 5:45pm to 6:00pm in the lobby and walk to another restaurant nearby. Shawn if it is too much for you, we understand. I know what it is like with small children and two busy parents.

If anyone has better ideas or special needs, don't hesitate to jump in here and let us know.

Hugs to all,
Agent B
