Hi all,
I am curious on what others are experiencing with the virtual compass from level 2? These questions could also be taken as a poll to get an idea if there are similarities between day night, location and or person to person. Master Lin did mention that two people standing together might be guided to different directions it would be interesting to see if there is any patterns to this. Ok I admit it Mr. Anal is coming out and testing the thresholds of curiosity.

Has anyone found any of the following experiences?

1-That you turn around in a complete circle only to end where you started?
2-That you turn only in one direction?
3-Sometimes you are in the same place on the next day and other times not.
4-The direction changes slightly between evening and morning but consistent daily?
5-What direction are you facing in and at what time of day.
6-Where are you from. I ask this since it may have a bearing on direction people are gravitating toward facing.
7-Are you male or female. This may be a mood point since energetically we could be connecting with either one at anytime.

In my limited use of this I find the following in my own experience.

1-Today I turned in a complete circle and ended up back where I started, that was a first for that one.
2-I seem to be turning counter clock wise always or most times.
3&4-Definitely varies but seem to gravitate to the same directions on most days. there also seems to be a consistency or pattern between evening and morning.
5-More times than not I am facing towards the south west in the morning give or take a couple of degrees. In the evening it seemed to be more of a north westerly direction.
6- North East, Connecticut.
7-I am male.

I have not used this enough to have a clear pattern for myself but am curious what others have found. Feel free to add any other personal experiences with this.

I've only used it a few times. This morning was one of them.

I've tried using it to decide where and in which direction to face.

I've stopped using it because, well I'm basically not interested, unwilling , or not reasonably capable of changing my location too much.

When I've tried to use if for direction only, I do it with my eyes closed, and I have a hard time settling on a direction. It is never the direction I think it is when I open my eyes. I find that if I move over even a few feet and search of a direction I get big variances.

This morning experience was a null compass, but you've got an idea of my attitude about using it from the above post. Also my SFQ practice has not been as regular as it could have been for the last couple of weeks. I've even gone several days without any. It has taken a few days to get back my level of experience.

I face south, south-east, south-west. Never in the northly directions.

Hi Ascending:

I do this a little differently. I close my eyes and turn clockwise all the way around and can feel which way feels best then just go back to that direction. Most of the time I face southeast in the morning and it changes at noon. I'm in Arizona.

Hi Ascending1: My compass always moves me in a clockwise direction. I start by facing east with my eyes closed. Sometimes I do turn all the way around to where I started. Other times I will move partially around, half way around, etc. I have not noticed a specific pattern. I practice SFQ between 5:30 and 6:30 am. I live in Philadelphia.
