Nothing ventured nothing gained. Polio has responded well to exercise though. An Australian Nurse managed to help many Polio victums to mantain mobility through helping the patients exercise the limbs. (I think this was in the 50's, or earlier have to research some history

) it didn't guarantee that the affliction didn't return at a later age but it did help maintain ease of mobility and avoid being confined to a wheel chair after surcumbing to polio.
In any case I'd be inclined to believe that for polio the best benefit will be if the individual does the SFQ exercises daily rather than the passive approach of having someone only apply healing.
